This mirror has all the hallmarks of a Chaty Vallauris design, although we can find no Maker's Mark. it has the sun rays formed in tapered v-shape form, radiating from the central mirror plate. Usually, these mirrors were sold with a gold paint finish, but this example seems to have been re-gilded in gold leaf. Very sought-after, and dates from the 1950s. It measures 74cm overall,and the mirror itself has a diameter of 29cm. SOLD.
